When we share our story with people who can listen to it respectfully, shame loses its power. Brené Brown
Group therapy offers a safe, supportive, and confidential space where people come together to share experiences, learn from one another, and build meaningful connections. Within the group, members have the opportunity to speak openly, listen with curiosity, and discover new perspectives on themselves and their relationships with others.
One of the greatest strengths of group therapy is the sense of belonging it creates. As trust develops, many participants find comfort in realizing they are not alone in their experiences. Feeling understood, accepted, and connected often becomes a powerful part of the healing process.
Groups may be open or closed, and may be offered as short-term or ongoing programs, depending on the group’s purpose and therapeutic goals.
Before joining a group, an individual consultation is typically arranged to discuss your needs, expectations, and determine whether the group is the right fit for you.
Group therapy can be experienced as a stand-alone therapeutic service or alongside individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, or parent counseling.
Lasting change rarely happens in isolation. We grow when we allow others to help us see ourselves in new ways. Anna Karakerezi
